SUMMARY:Visiting Oticon research facility "Eriksholm"
DESCRIPTION:We will visit Eriksholm Research Centre\, which is part of Otic
 on (and Demant). We have some interesting lectures and a tour of selected 
 laboratories.\n\nEriksholm makes long-term research in hearing loss\, cogn
 itive load and associated treatment. Find more at https://www.eriksholm.co
 m/. The group is highly international and the visit will therefore be in E
 nglish. There will be a simple supply of fruit and cold drinks.\n\nThis vi
 sit is a joint project between DAS og Ingeniørforeningen i Danmark (IDA) 
 Nordsjælland and is only open for members of these organisations. Admissi

 emant.\n 	A brief history of Erikshol\, Oticon and hearing aids.\n 	Acoust
 ic testing of situational awareness.\n 	Measuring auditory distraction wit
 h EEG and pupillometry\n 	Noise-induced Voice Adaptations and their Effect
 s on Speech Intelligibility and Cognitive Effort during Conversations.\n 	
 Visit to selected laboratories.\n\nLanguage: The intended language for thi
 s event is English.\n\nTransport: There is ample place for parking. Public
  transportatation is available by bus 353 from either Kokkedal or Helsing
 ør. Alternatively\, there is a 20 min walk from Snekkersten station. .\n\
